Kokoro Arenal Hotel

Exceeded my expectations.

We had a fantastic stay at La Selva Adventure Resort. The hotel is located just a few kilometers outside of La Fortuna and has fantastic Volcano views. The hotel is made up of several individual huts and the grounds are beautiful. Breakfast is served in a lovely summer hut and the staff was very friendly and very helpful. If I return to La Fortuna, I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful roomy, clean cabins. All staff are friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming. Wonderful pool. Great open air breakfast area. Beautiful view of the volcano and the valley. Set back off the road. Peaceful! We would return again & again!

The location is beautiful. The cabins are better suited for two people, while we had four. There are little things that would make the stay much better. For example, another larger trash container in the room, pool & jacuzzi were not functional the whole time, we had to ask for the proper towels each day, kleenex in the bathroom would have been nice. The breakfasts were very good & substantial. David was an invaluable resource & made our stay by providing us with great information. The front desk person, Lynn seemed to be annoyed much of the time. I would recommend this to a certain group of friends that would love the beauty of the place, but be comfortable with the lack of amenities.

We were very happy with our stay at La Selva Adventure Resort. The staff was very friendly, we felt like we had known them forever. They were very helpful with booking our tours, and good suggestions on restaurants. We only stayed 3 nights there, but wished we had decided to stayed longer when we booked the trip.
The rooms were clean, the grounds were beautiful, and the breakfast each morning was very good.
Yesenia (Jessie) was great. She had a beautiful disposition, always smiling and laughing. We just loved her! We had a good time there and met some very nice people.

We loved La Selva - The cabins with their front porches are wonderful. The grounds were beautiful and the birds were out of this world. We have been home five days and I miss La Selva and Sharon. Sharon was a wonderful hostess. Each of the four days spent there we would begin our day with a nice
breakfast in the open air restaurant where we could enjoy all of the surrounding beauty. We feel very fortunate to have found La Selva and I cannot stop raving about our stay there.

Thank you for a wonderful, wonderful stay at La Selva. The best part was
awakening to all of the bird and animal sounds in the morning. I'll definitely come back.
