Great hotel. Beautiful landscaping and pool. The hotel staff were all really nice, friendly and helpful. The best part by far was the view! Even though you face the green side of Arenal, it's absolutely incredible. Would definitely go here again.

The hotel staff was there to greet us when we arrived 12 hours late (midnight rather than noon) due to us missing our connecting flight the day before. We appreciated them being available, considering the late night.

The room was clean and comfortable - especially the air conditioning.

My only recommendation -- add darkening shades. The room became very bright the moment the sun came up.

As we arrived on a Saturday night, we heard the bar across the street booming until the late hours. All things were quiet on Sunday night.

My company had a great time here,the service and the people were first class,we would all like to thank all the staff for a great stay and cant wait to come back again!

This hotel was wonderful. It was clean, and the grounds were well taken care of. The owner/manager, Vilma, was very sweet and helped us arrange many tours and transportation. Also, we had a breathtaking view of the volcano from right outside our window. Villas Vilma was perfect for our low budget, but it still had lots of amenities: like a swimming pool and spa, and air conditioning. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the Fortuna/Arenal area.

my mother and i stayed here in june 07. nice ,quite,and clean. basic no frills rooms, beautiful pool with a view that cant get much better. owner was very friendly and helpful as well.
