8:00 a.m. Stop for Typical Costa Rican breakfast included at Rio Danta Restaurant in Guapiles.
9:00 a.m. Departure to Cano Blanco dock located in Siquirres area.
11:00 a.m. Arrival to Cano Blanco dock and board boats for ride to Tortuguero and Mawamba Lodge.
1:15-1:30 p.m. Arrival to Mawamba Lodge and lunch at restaurant.
3:00 p.m. Afternoon tour to Tortuguero town, starting at the entrance to the beach in front of the hotel. Visit the Caribbean Conservation Corporation Museum and the village.
5:00 p.m. Return by boat to lodge for free time, enjoy pool area and surroundings.
6:00 p.m. Meet at conference room for slide show presentation on Tortuguero area.
7:30 p.m. Dinner at lodge.
5:45 a.m. Meet for coffee & crackers at the Entertainment room.
6:00 a.m. Morning boat tour through the Tortuguero Canals.
8:00 a.m. Return for breakfast at the lodge.
9:00 a.m. Departure by boat to the Mawamba Lodge private trails, where you will enjoy a hiking trip into the forest.
12:00 m.d. Arrival and lunch included at the hotel.
3:00 p.m. Afternoon canal boat tour.
5:00 p.m. Return to lodge for relaxation.
7:30 p.m. Dinner at the lodge. *Optional Turtle Night Tour.
