Tour information

Without a doubt, Canopy or zip-lining tours near the Arenal Volcano area are among the most attractive and thrilling adventures for doing.

This tour will begin with a 10-minutes ride on a cart carried by Tractor. Next, you will have a small talk about the equipment you will use, in addition to the safety instructions during the tour by the guide. A total of 9 cables wait for us to slip between the trees. The longest wire measures 1476 ft. and the maximum height is 300 ft. Therefore, with or without experience at zip-lining, you, your friends and all your family can enjoy this great adventure.

An amazing landscape with a volcano, rainforest, birds, and monkeys will occasionally be part of the whole trip. After the cables, you will have the opportunity to do Rappel, descending by ropes 164ft. to the Arenal River. This is optional and included in the Tour, but we really recommend you to take advantage of the experienced guides who will help you about it.

At the end of the tour, you will have a short Aboriginal presentation by Maleku Tribe, who will teach you about the culture of the ancestors that inhabited the North area of Costa Rica.

Ziplining Thrilling and Safe
Neil Claffey
We took the zip line tour on our second day in La Fortuna. It had not stopped raining from the time we arrived. Altho we were thinking of canceling our zip line tour, we decided to go in the rain. Fortunately, it let up a bit just as we arrived at the tower for the first zip line, and we were off, with Pedro and Marcos, our excellent guides. They put us at ease and their first concern was always safety.

Staff knew English well, and communicated well, telling us many jokes as well as conveying the seriousness of our adventure. Each zip line offered either a stunning view or a thrilling fast ride - and sometimes both. Our final stop - learning about the Maleku people - was a fitting end to the afternoon, and we warmed up in a thatch hut with a traditional drink. A day that started negatively due to the non-stop rain wound up a fantastic day above and within the rain forest. Thank you!
