Reviews of Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge

We had the most incredible monkey experience on this trip. We saw two separate groups of Growler monkeys. Then we saw a group of Spider monkeys and a group of white faced monkeys traveling together. We watched them swing from tree to tree. Experienced monkeys, young ones, moms with babies. Each had their unique style. Some missed branches and crashed into the next level of canopy. Some did flips. The boat moved along shore following the monkeys for twenty to thirty minutes. Then a white faced monkey popped its head out of the tree less than three feet away to check us out. We saw sloths, lizards, butterflies, hummingbirds, birds of all kinds, and caimans. I highly recommend this adventure.
