Rafting Sarapiqui River Class III

Overview

The Sarapiqui River has been deemed a National Historical Legend, due to its cleanliness and the large variety of flora and fauna found surrounding the river, not to mention its excellent rapids. You can swim in the midst of this beautiful rainforest. This river is considered one of the best in Costa Rica for rafting.

The tour departs from your hotel in La Fortuna, for the 1.5 hour drive to the Sarapiqui River. Once we arrive, the guides will give you a complete safety briefing with paddling instructions to insure your safety while rafting.

After answering any questions or concerns you may have, we will be ready to begin our 2.5 hour trip down the Sarapiqui River through 14 kms of crystalline waters. Halfway through the trip, we will take a break for some fresh fruit and a refreshing swim.

At the end of the river, a vehicle will be waiting for you to take you to the town of Sarapiqui for lunch, before returning to La Fortuna, San Carlos.

The pick up time at the hotel will be from 30 to 15 minutes before the tour.
Minimun age is 12 years old.

Please add $20 per person if the pick up is at Observatory Lodge, Arenal Lodge or Linda Vista hotel.
