The majestic Arenal Volcano

The impressive Arenal Volcano is the most active volcano in Central America. It was dormant for 7 thousand years. Then in 1968 exploded, devastating the landscape and burying the town called Arenal.





Ever since it's been a very active volcano with pyroclastic flows. On clear nights you can see incredible beautiful strings of red lava going down the sides.
