 Day 1
San José, Costa Rica
Welcome to our peaceful paradise compound of beautiful landscapes of natural wonders and friendly people. With naturalist guides, see exotic birds and wildlife, hike in jungle rainforests, view volcanoes, soak in hot springs and cruise through biological reserves. Relax on both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. Caravan provides transfers from the San José airport to the Best Western Irazú Hotel or Similar. Rooms are available for check in after 3:00 p.m. Dine at your hotel.

 Day 2
On the way to Tortuguero National Park
You can take breakfast at the hotel or take it with us on the way to Tortuguero National Park, a jungle paradise host of more then 300 species of birds, crocodiles, turtles and more the 47.000 acre of humid over flooded forest. On the road to the river deck you will be able to appreciate the magnificent Braulio Carrillo National Park and we will travel by boat to get to Tortuguero Town where you are going to stay at the Samoa Lodge...

 Day 3
At Tortuguero National Park and Town
Cruise this morning with naturalist guides along canals lined by raffia palm, habitat of howler and white faced monkeys, green iguanas and tropical birds. Look for white and snowy egrets and the amazing nests of the Montezuma oropéndula bird. Then, enter the mysterious reflecting waters of Caño Palma wildlife reserve. Next, visit the Green Turtle Research Station. Learn about efforts to protect the turtle's nesting habitat, eggs and young hatchlings. Walk along the Atlantic turtle nesting beaches with a naturalist guide. Next to Tortuguero town. Meet Costa Rican school children on your visit to a local school (when in session). Return to your lodge for lunch. Free time to enjoy your lodge's swimming pool and tropical flower gardens. Visit a butterfly garden. See colorful butterflies. Enjoy an afternoon boat excursion into Tortuguero Park. Look for otters, turtles and manatees. Dinner.

 Day 4
To Arenal Volcano's Area
Morning cruise on Tortuguero River. See a banana plantation. Lunch, then a brief stop at Selva Verde Rainforest Reserve. Here you can walk the nearly 300 foot long suspension bridge over a jungle river. Next, through scenic countryside to the San Carlos Valley for a two night stay in Fortuna, near to Arenal Volcano where we will stay at Arenal Springs Resort, this hotel have one of the most beautiful view to our famous active Volcano.

 Day 5
At Arenal Volcano
After breakfast at Arenal Springs there is a nice horseback riding to our famous waterfall, which is one of a kind surrounded by a deep rain forest. At the waterfall we can stop on the look out or we can take an excellent hike down hill for about 20 minutes to get to the waterfall's natural swimming pool. After lunch and a good rest at the hotel we will pick you at the afternoon to hike on Arenal Volcano National Park, we will walk on the old lava trails to get to the breathtaking observatory, where if the weather is on our side you will be able to see the lava flowing down just in front of you, just spectacular!

 Day 6
Enjoy the best of La Fortuna.
In the morning we are going to enjoy an spelunking tour to Venado Caves, if you do not mind getting wet and dirty you will walk thru narrow passages and large caverns where stalactites and stalagmites with different and funny shapes will call your attention. After lunch there is a naturalist tour on the Arenal Hanging Bridges where you will have the most beautiful panoramic view of The Arenal Volcano, this bridges are located into a private reserve where we also could see a lot of birds and nature.

 Day 7
On the Way to our Jewel, Guanacaste.
After the relaxing morning on Arenal Springs we take the road to Tamarindo Beach at Guanacaste Province, a sun shining region blessed by beautiful white sand beaches and tranquility. At our arrival we are going to check in at the amazing beach front hotel Tamarindo Diriá. One of the most exclusive hotels at the area, just into the peaceful paradise and near by Tamarindo Town.

 Day 8
Tamarindo Beach and Surroundings.
Enjoy your day at the beach or take tanning on the hotel's swimming pool, with some piña coladas on the wet bar. Late at the afternoon go on board of our Sunset Sail Tour and finish the day with this beautiful sun downing show. Enjoy the Night Life at Tamarindo Town or take a rest on the Hotel.

 Day 9
To San José
After a relaxing morning on the beach or shopping on the Town, we take our way back to San José to stay at Best western Irazú Hotel or similar to take the flight the next day to home.

Home Sweet Home
Breakfast is part of your package. Today the Hotel will transfer you out to the airport. After a week time with us, we are sure you will know the reason why Costa Rica is PURA VIDA!!!
