This impressive project is located within a marvelous rainforest reserve, of over 250 hectares of protected land.

You will be immersed in a paradise, and walking 2 miles long of trails including 16 bridges. Six of the bridges are suspension bridges; all of them have been spectacularly designed to provide extreme safety and an incomparable adventure at the same time. You will admire the rainforest from the ground (like a jaguar), from an average height (like a monkey), and from the tops of the tallest trees (like an eagle). Maximum slope 8% in lower, 6% rise.

One of the bridges is called the "Waterfall Bridge", it is 197ft. high. Another one is known as the "Tyra Bridge" and it is 322ft. long. This is for you to have an idea of the nature adventure that is waiting for you.

In this flora and fauna paradise, you can discover:

- Around 250 different bird species such as: the White Hawk, Great Curassow, Rufous Motmot, Rufous-tailed Jacamar, Black-throated Trogon, and many others.
- Many reptiles, for example, the Fer-de-lance snake, Boa, Basilisk Lizards, glass frog, and poisonous dart frog.
- Amazing mammals, including howler monkeys, spider monkeys, tyras, coatimundis, white-colored wild boars, and three-toed sloth.
- Thousands of insects, some of them are: butterflies, vivid beetles, amazing leaf-cutter ants, and artistic spiders.

The total hike takes almost 2 hours, so, bring your hiking shoes, a camera and join this awesome trip to the forest.

Too big group for guided tour
Jaana Koistinen
We were at Arenal Mystico Hanging Bridges Tour via Seventour and the group was way too big, 24 person. We have to hurry all the time. We saw animals trough our guides teleacope but we did not have the time to take pictures. When we booked it was promised that group is max. 15 person.
The park itself was great and good experience.
Relaxing and instructive

An excellent guide, a beautiful tour through nature, discovering the flora and fauna of this part of Costa Rica. If you are in La Fortuna this tour should not be missed.
Perfect day - great guide
Kevin Bolduan
We were skeptical about having a guided tour through the Hanging Bridges, but it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. Our guide, Alvaro, was knowledgable, patient, and paced us perfectly throughout. We learned so much about the various flora and fauna, and would have missed so much without Alvaro. Definitely recommend!
Great guide, fun tour
Amy Miller
We loved our guide, Steven, on the hanging bridges tour. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out many animals we would not have seen if we were on our own. He also described the different plants, trees and flowers around us. It was all very interesting and we really enjoyed the tour.
Great experience

You will learn so much about the rain forest environment on this tour. It really is educational and our guide was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the animals, reptiles, insects and flora/fauna. The hanging bridges were not as adventurous as I hoped but still a great experience. I would highly recommend going in the morning. A fair amount of uphill walking is involved so be aware o f that factor.
