As a matter of fact, fishing is by itself a great experience lots of people enjoy, but experienced anglers would take advantage of Lake Arenal and all that it offers.
There are three main types of fish we will find out on this lake: Machaca fish (scientific name: Brycon behreaeon). The Rainbow Bass (scientific name: Parachromis dovii), and the hardest to catch that is the Bobo (scientific name: Joturus Pichardi). A well-trained guide and with the correct equipment, you will be able to catch them.
The best fishing time in this area is early in the morning; therefore, we will start our journey since 5 a.m. After picking you up at the hotel, our guide will let you know some instructions and important information about what is surrounded by our fishing space. Once on the lake, you will wear the vest and will follow the guide with your kayak to start fishing in the guide's recommended point.
We want you just to have fun, so this is a fully-equipped Tour including all rods (8 to 9 foot) with floating lines and poppers, tackle and lures (feel free to bring your favorites from home too!), specialized fishing kayaks with comfortable seats, life jackets, and all safety equipment, experienced nature guide, and skilled fishing enthusiast.
