Nice location & friendly staff

Our family enjoyed staying at this hotel for 3 nights. The standard room was too small for us, so we upgraded to Jr. Suite and paid the difference. It worked out much better so it was worth it! We liked the pool with a swim-up bar and the Arenal Mountain view. Also the breakfast buffet was really good.

Arrived early morning and instead of being told that we would have to wait until the afternoon to get into our room, we were told that we could check in right away. Great Staff. Restaurant expensive - better choices and more variety close by.Â

Excellent View of the Volcano

Our room was on the third floor with an excellent view of the Arenal Volcano. The first night the ceiling in the bathroom fell in. The staff immediately moved us to a junior suite on the first floor. The room was very nice with a jacuzzi. We unfortunately never used it because we were so busy doing all the adventures that La Fortuna has to offer.

We were in the Aranal area two nights. This is where we spent our second night. The room comes with all the modern conveniences, is spacious, and has a patio onto the lovely garden Magic Mountain Hotel keeps. It is about a mile from town center, close enough to be convenient and far enough out to be away from the noise.
